C 954 Aluminum Bronze (UNS C95400)
Description
C 954 aluminum bronze is the most popular all purpose aluminum bronze alloy. It provides high yield and tensile strength, good ductility, weldability and machinability. C 954 has excellent corrosion resistance and exceptional resistance to wear, fatigue and deformation under shock loading. Typical applications include bearings, gears, valve components, wear plate and wear strips, bearing brushes and landing gear components on aircrafts, engine components, underwater fasteners in naval architecture, ship propellers, general sea water related service, water supply industry, oil and petrochemical industries, specialized anti-corrosive applications and certain structural building applications
