Are you receiving lead times of several weeks or even months for your custom forged and machined parts? Double Eagle Alloys has the resources and expertise to get the parts you need produced and delivered in lightning-fast turnaround.
Recently, a local urea ammonium nitrate plant reached out to us during their plant turnaround looking for lead times to replace a broken reformer cone reducer. The best offer they received from other manufacturers prior to contacting Double Eagle Alloys was a lead time of six weeks.
After gathering the necessary specifications, our experts quickly went to work. A raw Nickel Alloy 800H/HT ingot was procured, rough forged and then machine finished to produce the cone reducer fitting to our customer’s exact requirements – all in less than a week.
Check out the finished product below! We are confident our quality of work is evident in every detail.

About Alloy 800H/HT®
Containing high nickel and chromium content, Alloy 800H/800HT® provides excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization and sulfidation and is commonly used in applications that involve long-term exposure to high temperatures. Heat treatment and power generation are two common industries where Alloy 800 H/HT® is used with typical applications found in superheater and reheater tubing, headers, pigtails, outlet manifolds and sheathing for heating elements. Alloy 800H/800HT® also has excellent resistance to nitric acid at concentrations up to 70% and has good resistance to organic media like formic, acetic and propionic acids.
